Solar Washington Meeting 9-12-11

Status of Solar Energy Technologies. Overview of applied technologies in Washington. What is it that we can expect to see in the next five years?

Technologies are continually changing, and this is particularly the case for solar energy. Whether you work in the solar industry or are merely curious, it is important to keep track on what is happening; with the challenge being to separate what can be expected to be applied in the near future, and what is merely media buzz. To bring clarity to this important issue, Solar Washington is proud to present Dr. Hugh Hillhouse, Rehnberg Chair Professor of Chemical Engineering & The Institute of Molecular Engineering and Science from the University of Washington.

In addition, we will hear from iTek Energy on the status of their Made-in-Washington solar module and inverter development, as well as from the City of Seattle on a small business loan program.
