Solar Washington Membership Meeting at REI Nov 2011
Solar Policy in Washington State: What is working, and What changes can we expect in 2012?
Solar Washington is pleased to present a program dedicated to Solar Policy. Our main presenter will be Tony Usibelli, Director of the Energy Office in the Washington State Department of Commerce. Prior to joining Commerce, Tony worked on energy codes with the Washington State University Energy program, managed the energy efficiency-section at the Washington State Energy Office, and was a staff scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory where he researched energy efficiency. Tony tells us that his presentation will be both interesting and provocative.
In addition, Solar Washington Board Members will report on their meeting with State Rep. Deb Eddy of the 48th District. Rep. Eddy is a leading politician in Olympia in distributed energy policy. And, we will also hear what happened at the recent NW Solar Summit, and about Silicon Energy’s new inverters.
