Washington Clean Energy Testbeds Open House

Join Solar Washington for a tour of, and an evening of networking at, the Washington Clean Energy Testbeds, the UW Clean Energy Institute’s facility for catalyzing innovations in clean technology.

We’ll hear from the Testbeds team about how this open-access facility for businesses and academic researchers is accelerating the development, scale-up, and adoption of new technologies in solar harvesting, energy storage, and grid integration. We’ll see state-of-the-art instruments for manufacturing prototypes, testing devices, and integrating systems and meet UW researchers and students.

Light refreshments will be served.

Parking: Some parking is available in the lot in front of the building. Street parking is usually available on Union Bay Place or in the surrounding neighborhood. Parking is also available in UW lot E1. Enter lot E1 at Walla Walla Rd and Montlake Blvd. It is a 10 minute walk to the Testbeds.

About the Clean Energy Institute
The Clean Energy Institute (CEI) at the University of Washington (UW) was founded in 2013 with funds from the state of Washington. Its mission is to accelerate the adoption of a scalable clean energy future that will improve the health and economy of our state, nation, and world. To accomplish this mission, CEI supports the advancement of next-generation solar energy and battery materials and devices, as well as their integration with systems and the grid.
