If you are interested promoting solar energy in Washington, we have an opportunity for you!
As a non-profit organization Solar Washington depends on our volunteers to help us advance solar energy understanding and adoption to communities throughout the state. We welcome ongoing volunteer commitments or short-term help specific to an event or project. Volunteer with us and help connect solar to communities throughout Washington. Volunteering with Solar Washington is a great way for you to increase your solar knowledge as well as network with other solar enthusiasts and supporters throughout Washington.
We always are looking for assistance in the following areas:
- Researching and writing about solar-related news, policy-related developments, new projects and more.
- Helping with event planning and outreach initiatives to all communities throughout the state including underserved populations. We are also in need of volunteers outside of the greater Puget Sound area as well as east of the Cascades to help put on social and other types of events in your areas.
- Helping to develop new programming initiatives and more.
Additional upcoming volunteer opportunity:
We are looking for additional people to help staff our booth at Northwest SolarFest on July 27 in Shoreline. The event is from 10am-5pm. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org. for more info.
