Let's celebrate our solar community!
Since our founding Olympia Community Solar has been creating programs to make solar energy ownership affordable and accessible for all. Earlier this year the Hummingbird Community Solar Project was completed on top of the Hands On Children's Museum, generating solar for 83 participants and 14 nonprofits. September will also mark the completion of our Solarize Thurston campaign, the most successful solar group purchasing program in Washington State history, with over 130 homes making the transition!
Please join Hummingbird, Solarize Thurston participants, and partners for an eventful evening at the Hands On Childrens Museum. We'll be serving drinks, geeking out about solar, and enjoying the Museum's 150 exciting exhibits, 10 beautiful galleries and a half acre of outdoor space. You might even win a prize in a solar themed raffle!
We want to bring our expanding solar community under one roof to celebrate these milestones. Learn about our ongoing and future projects and mingle with other community members who have also gone solar. It’ll be a big SOLARbration for everyone who's been part of this journey in one way or another.
