Mika McLean, Business and Cooperatives Specialist & WA State Energy Coordinator, Wenatchee Field Office for USDA Rural Development will discuss the USDA's Renewable Energy for America Program (REAP). REAP offers grants and guaranteed loans to assist rural small businesses and agricultural producers that are planning on installing renewable energy systems or making energy efficient improvements. Mika will introduce REAP, describe recent changes to the program and additional funding from the Inflation Reduction Act, and answer questions about eligibility and the application process (due March 31, 2023).
