January 2018 General Meeting

Solar Washington held its first public meeting of 2018 the evening of Wednesday, January 10 at the Phinney Center in Seattle where homeowners and industry personnel met to learn about current topics in the Washington solar industry as well as network with each other.

Speakers at the January 10, 2018 General Meeting:

Scott300.jpg H. Scott Gibson, P.E., Principal Engineer at Snohomish PUD, who presented on SnoPUD's energy storage program. Click to view his presentation.
Linda300.jpg Linda Irvine from Spark Northwest showcased the SolSmart program, a U.S. Department of Energy funded recognition program for communities that have taken steps to reduce solar costs and barriers to solar adoption. In Washington the cities of Edmonds, Bellevue, Langley, Issaquah and Mercer Island as well as King County have been designated as Sol Smart cities. Click to read her presentation.
