Solar Washington May 2017 General Meeting

The next Solar Washington General Meeting will be held May 3 at the Community Hall at the Phinney Neighborhood Center in Seattle from 6-8/8:15pm. Click for directions. Park in the lower parking lot.

Scheduled to speak:

Jeremy Smithson of Puget Sound Solar and Solar Installers of Washington, who will give a brief update concerning solar legislation still being considered during the special session.

Mikhaila Gonzales, Project Manager for Northwest SEED, will discuss its Affordable Clean Energy for All project, and Sameer Ranade, Climate and Clean Energy Program Associate for the Washington Environmental Council,  will talk about the Clean Energy Fund, the Clean Energy Transition Act, and how it can strengthen the solar industry.

Rick Matheson, CEO/President of Nampa, ID based Advanced Technology Solutions specializing in processing/recovering silicon wafers, broken silicon, solar silicon and a distributor of high-end NAND/DRAM Products. Rick will address silicon repurposing, recycling methods and its challenges.

Rich Phillips, CEO of PureSolar, will do a presentation on PureSolar's new PV panel.
