Solar Summit Review & Discussion

The November 2015 General Meeting was held Wednesday, November from 6-8pm in the Community Hall at the Phinney Neighborhood Center in Seattle. Topics covered include a post Solar Summit discussion (i.e. "Takeaways from the Solar Summit") and a discussion concerning climate related initiatives and more.

Jeremy Smithson presented on behalf of a workgroup recently created to find ways to accommodate more distributed generation in the local electrical distribution grid system and to keep the legislature updated on technology and metering/billing methods. Click to view his presentation. (Powerpoint)

Thanks to Northwest Energy Coalition's Joni Bosh for speaking briefly about the Coalition's process for deciding on initiatives such as 732 as well as threats to the Renewable Portfolio Standard as established in 937.
