The November 2016 SW General Meeting took place Wednesday, November 2 in Seattle. The November General Meeting featured two topics:

2016 Solar Summit overview
The 2016 Washington State Solar Summit just concluded in early October. The Summit featured discussions surrounding the state of solar in Washington, the state of the production incentive, net metering and more. We will provide a brief summary of the presentations and panels featured at this year's Summit at the November General Meeting. Click for the 2016 Solar Summit schedule and presentations.

KwfH.jpgPresentation by KiloWatts for Humanity, a local nonprofit organization which engages with communities and local NGO partners to provide appropriate electricity service where it is needed most. KfH takes a "sustainability first" approach, and only consider projects that we believe can be sustainable. KiloWatts for Humanity (KWH) has been implementing international rural electrification projects since 2009 and was incorporated as a non-profit organization in January 2015. Their volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds, unified by the common desire to end energy poverty around the world.
