On Wednesday July 11 representatives from and members of Solar Washington, DLR Group, Google and other solar supporters toured the Google facility in Kirkland to view the building's solar installation and energy efficiency design. The tour was led by Michael Vander Ploeg, lead architect at DLR Group and on the Google Kirkland project. The solar array was installed by Northwest Wind & Solar.
