Over 40 solar and energy industry professionals (installers, utility, government, nonprofit, lending personnel and others) as well as other solar advocates traveled from as far as Vancouver, WA and Mt. Vernon, WA to meet at Three Magnets Brewing in downtown Olympia on Wednesday, March 20 for an evening of discussion and networking. Solar Washington board members Dean Van Vleet, Jack Newman and Joan Schrammeck were on hand to welcome guests and talk about the organization's future plans and projects including the Solar Summit, resumption of the Distribution System Collaborative (DiSCo), and incorporating an equity and resiliency component into forthcoming SW projects.
Special thanks to WSU Energy Program colleagues Todd Currier and Phil Lou for providing information pertaining to the Renewable Energy System Incentive Program during the evening.
