Thanks to everyone who attended the 2021 Washington State Solar Summit hybrid conference!
The 2021 Washington State Solar Summit was a hybrid conference where, for the first time since Solar Washington has hosted this event, individuals and speakers attended both in-person and remotely. Over 125 industry professionals registered to attend in-person and an additional 90 registered to attend remotely. Solar Washington, in consultation with the event management firm of Social Enterprises, instituted a COVID protocol for the 2021 Washington State Solar Summit for in-person attendees. This year's Solar Summit featured experts discussing important current topics surrounding solar energy deployment in Washington. Presentation topics included the State of the Industry in Washington, Legislative Review, Improving Solar Access for Tribal Communities, Important Considerations for Siting Large-Scale Solar Projects, Residential Energy Storage, and Workforce Development in the Solar Industry. Hosted by Solar Washington since 2015 the Washington State Solar Summit is an important annual information gathering and networking event for industry stakeholders including manufacturers, installers, utilities, municipalities, legislators/policy makers, educators, students, tribal members, advocacy organizations/nonprofits, distributors, engineers, financial lenders, consultants and more. The Solar Summit attempts to tackle the most timely issues and most talked about conversations surrounding solar energy and solar adoption in Washington. The Washington State Solar Summit is the must-attend business conference for anyone engaged in solar deployment, education and advocacy in Washington state.
